Mental Health Awareness May!
This month is mental health awareness month. 15th May – 21st is all about anxiety. This time of year is a great reminder of how important it is to look after our mental health, build that resilience and work towards good mental health and wellbeing every day.
Mental health is so important, but many of us don’t realise why or how to look after it. Let’s all do our bit by making small changes, big enough to help clear the stigma that surrounds mental health.
When it feels like anxiety is getting the best of you, take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Everyone experiences anxiety at different times in their lives, whether it’s before taking an exam or waiting for a job offer. But if this is a pattern, get help fast.
There are lots of options out there to help with anxiety. Talking therapies, online activities and social media platforms have really changed our world. We also have therapists in your area, that can help with feelings of anxiety. Please visit our find a therapist page for a full list. or for more info, visit https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/
